Boom & Bonheur, or rather its German predecessor Lappen, was founded in 1894 on the Lower Rhine and is now one of the top 5 companies in Europe. Whether green open spaces, urban façade greening, botanical parks, private gardens or magnificent avenues in Germany, France, England, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia or the Benelux countries – it is often our trees that provide people with air, shade and peace.
In 2021 Lappen was purchased by the Overlack family and continued under a new name “Baum & Bonheur”. With this takeover, the Dutch company “Lappen Boomkwekerij B.V.” was acquired. In 2022 this Dutch sister company has been renamed “Boom & Bonheur” and the future will be shaped independently in the Dutch- and native-English speaking markets.
